“I’m Still Standing” is a mixed media piece incorporating acrylic paint, acrylic ink, wax pastels and penwork. The rock shapes could topple at any time but somehow remain standing.  Each rock is a unique shape, symbolizing the multi-faceted aspects of every person’s life.
 
It seems important to me to portray this resilience and determined ability to persevere despite challenging life circumstances.  It’s an encouragement that though life  can send us curve balls, we have the capacity to keep on keeping on.
